Jessica Brown, Attorney at Law

A message from Jessica:

"I grew up in Oklahoma raising and training Quarter Horses. All of my best memories growing up included horses and my little brothers (who aren't so little anymore). When I was 11, I knew that I wanted to be an attorney because attorneys could help people when no one else could. When I was a teenager, my attorney changed the course of my entire life when she gave me the gift of listening to me and advocating for me. That's what I seek to give others while doing this work."

Highlighted Quote:

“[I want to be remembered as] someone who used whatever talent she had to do her work to the very best of her ability. And to help repair tears in her society, to make things a little better through the use of whatever ability she has. To do something, as my colleague David Souter would say, outside myself. ‘Cause I’ve gotten much more satisfaction for the things that I’ve done for which I was not paid.”

- Ruth Bader Ginsburg (1933 - 2020), Supreme Court Justice
